The Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2022 and also enters a new phase with increased funding made available for research on low-emission steelmaking and phasing out coal.

Our project ROBOHARSH "Robotic workstation in harsh environmental conditions to improve safety in the steel industry" was selected to be presented at the upcoming Summit, which will take place in Brussel (and online) on Monday March 21, 2022. This research project was funded by the European Union through the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) and today is a robotic solution working in the Acciaierie d'Italia steel plant.
