SPAIN. CELSA Group, the first circular and low carbon steel company in Spain, entrusts to Polytec the second ladle furnace refining sampling and measurement robot. After a successful first installation, a second automatic sampling and measurement robot, PolySAMPLE LF, will be installed in the Ladle furnace 2 refining area. The versatility of this robotic solution allows easy integration in phases, updates and upgrades of functions even after the commissioning, scheduled for December 2022. The Spanish steel producer relies upon Polytec robotics and continues to invest in 4.0 solutions to improve safety, productivity and product quality. The company produces steel by electric arc furnaces, using scrap, the most sustainable system that exists today, in order to become a net zero company in 2040 and to complete its circularity.
